[whohit]I’m Jamielee Brown, known to you and many others as Jamie the Globetrotter on Instagram. [/whohit] I’m Jamielee Brown, known to you and many others as Jamie the Globetrotter on Instagram. I’m a Jamaican who loves to explore and think it is safe to always say “I live where you vacay”. I’m not sure if I directed you to this blog or asked you to subscribe to my newsletter but thank you for visiting and welcome to my little world.

For those who don’t know me personally, I have a passion for travelling and storytelling. I’ll sit down for hours to read about travel stories or watch YouTube videos to see travellers describe their trips in and around the world. I’ve been inspired by many travellers to start my travel journey and share it through this blog and my upcoming YouTube channel.

I am definitely not your typical every day Travel Blogger, although I’d like to be some day but I’m passionate about everything I love. That includes travelling, writing, being behind the camera and making short videos. Not to toot my own horn but I have a bubbly personality. My friends will describe me as an extrovert but if you don’t know me, you’d think I’m an introvert. In plain terms, I describe myself as an ambivert. I can be sassy or super awkward, depending on the day. I’m not always funny and you can count on me to yell random lyrics from songs that aren’t always correct.

I knew there was a whole other world outside of my hometown and I had a burning desire to explore it. Growing up, my summer and Christmas holidays consisted of staying home where I watched tv-shows and dreamt of being elsewhere. At the age of 19, I made it past security at an airport and no, I wasn’t in a suitcase. The freedom I felt that day, I want you to feel it.

I’m always encouraging others to travel. It doesn’t have to be to another country but even to the beach or attraction closest to your home town. Through this blog, I hope to inspire you to live your best life. I want you to look at travel as an important part of knowing who you are and being your creative self. If you’ve never explored your home country or never taken a flight, it is with great hopes that you will after reading my posts (knowing that money is not an issue). Look out for travel tips and blogs around my life as a millennial as well.

Here’s my hand (let’s just pretend, lol). Hold on tight. We are going for a jolly ride! I’m taking you with me on all my adventures and flights. Cheers to more memories, together.
